PhD-Ready specializes in assisting and supporting graduate students through every stage of the dissertation or thesis writing process. While many companies spread themselves thin by offering a wide variety of services, PhD-Ready focuses entirely on editing dissertation proposals, dissertations, and thesis’ in the social sciences.
Martha J. Hoff is the owner and founder of PhD-Ready. She had a B.A.Sc. in Applied Human Nutrition for the University of Guelph (Canada), and M.Ed in Education (Literacy) from Canisius College, and a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Rochester.
Dr. Hoff is a highly skilled dissertation editor and consultant who is passionate about helping doctoral students succeed. She will discuss your project with you and propose an effective strategy to ensure that your dissertation is well written and approved by your committee. Dr. Hoff truly enjoys the academic editing process, and delights in that sense of accomplishment that comes when good ideas shine through clear, concise writing.
PhD-Ready has extensive experience working with international students. If English is not your first language, don’t worry. We will work to help improve your English language usage with great sensitivity to diverse writing styles and differing approaches to science. Learning APA/CMS can be particularly difficult if you have had limited exposure to it. We will work to ensure your writing adheres to APA/CMS standards.
